UK Hua Fu User Agreement
Version 1.0
Effective: 1 September 2026
Please read this Agreement carefully before registering, signing in or using UK Hua Fu, particularly the provisions concerning the nature of the platform, verification of business information, user responsibilities, limitations of liability, complaints and dispute resolution.
By ticking the box confirming that you have read and agree to the User Agreement and Privacy Notice, and then registering, signing in or using the service, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the account services.
1. Platform operator
The platform is principally operated by UK Hua Fu. “UK Hua Fu”, “platform”, “we” and “us” mean that operator and its lawfully authorised service providers.
2. Nature of the service
UK Hua Fu is an information, promotion and communication platform serving the UK Chinese community. Businesses and users may submit business details, descriptions, images, contact details and promotional material. Unless expressly stated, we do not own, operate, employ or act as agent for listed businesses; make contracts for users; supply advertised goods or services; participate in payments, bookings, transactions, performance or after-sales arrangements; or guarantee, certify or recommend a business. Paid placement means that display services were purchased, not that the business was verified or endorsed. Advertising and sponsored material will be identified where required by law.
3. Accounts
You must be at least 18 and legally capable of entering this Agreement. You may use an approved phone, email, Google or other login. Details must be accurate and kept current. Protect passwords, codes and account information; do not lend, rent, sell or transfer an account. Notify us of unauthorised use. You remain responsible where you fail to protect the account, but this does not exclude liability arising from our failure to apply legally required security. Do not use another person's identity, phone, email, trade mark or business details without authority.
4. Business information submitted by users
Business names, contacts, addresses, hours, categories, prices, offers, qualifications, images and descriptions are mainly supplied by customers seeking display or promotion. Unless a page expressly states “verified” and explains the scope, UK Hua Fu has not visited every business or independently checked all information. Formatting, classification, translation or basic review is not confirmation of truth, completeness, legality, currency or suitability. Submitters warrant that they have authority, provide accurate and current information, avoid misleading omissions, respect third-party rights, comply with UK advertising, consumer, data and sector rules, and hold necessary permissions. They must update changes. We may correct, suspend, remove or restrict unlawful, infringing, stale or misleading material.
5. Your verification responsibility
Before visiting, booking, paying a deposit, buying, contracting or deciding, independently check the business name, address, contact details, operator, hours, prices, charges, refund terms, licences, insurance, registrations and professional qualifications. Read written contracts and cancellation terms and obtain independent advice for high-value transactions. Check that the premises and service match the advertisement. If anything differs, do not rush to pay or sign and report it. UK Hua Fu is not a party to transactions; the parties ordinarily handle payment, quality, refunds, after-sales matters and disputes. Your statutory consumer rights against the actual supplier remain unaffected.
6. Prohibited conduct
Do not publish fraudulent, misleading, unlawful, infringing, hateful, discriminatory, threatening, harassing, violent, obscene or harmful material; malware or attacks; misuse personal data; spam, scam, launder money or conduct unlawful fundraising; manipulate reviews or conceal paid promotion; bypass security, access controls, rate limits or authentication; or otherwise breach law, this Agreement or reasonable platform rules.
7. Content and intellectual property
You retain rights in your original content. For operating and promoting the service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free and revocable licence during the relevant service period to store, copy, resize, format, translate, display and distribute submitted content. Deletion may be delayed where law, disputes, security records or normal backup cycling require retention. The platform design, trade marks, logos, software, database structure and original content are protected and may not be copied or commercially exploited without written permission.
8. Moderation and complaints
We may review content but do not promise advance or continuous monitoring. Report misleading advertising, infringement, illegality, fraud or impersonation via WeChat H07778139777 or phone/WhatsApp 07778139777. Include the page or listing, explanation, evidence, contact details and proof of rights where relevant. We may investigate, request information, contact the publisher, hide, label, remove, restrict or report content. Never publicly send passwords, codes or database credentials; we will provide an appropriate route if sensitive evidence is genuinely needed.
9. Availability
We use reasonable measures but cannot guarantee uninterrupted, delay-free or error-free service. Maintenance, security incidents, suppliers, networks, disasters, government acts or events beyond reasonable control may interrupt access. We will seek to restore service when reasonably practicable and may reasonably adjust features without unfairly removing the core of a paid service.
10. Third-party services
External sites, maps, payment services and social media operate under their own terms and privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement or guarantee.
11. Paid promotion and refunds
Prices, duration, placement and refund terms are stated at purchase. Check them before payment. Nothing here removes statutory cancellation, refund, quality or remedy rights. Contact support with order details if a paid service is not supplied as agreed.
12. Liability
We provide the platform with reasonable care and skill. We do not guarantee customer-supplied information. To the extent permitted by law, where we neither knew nor ought legally to have known of an inaccuracy and acted reasonably after credible notice, we are not responsible merely because a user relied on that third-party information. Failure to make reasonable checks may affect remedies. We exclude only indirect or unforeseeable losses permitted by law. Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, deliberate illegality, non-excludable liability or statutory consumer rights.
13. User responsibility for loss
A user who intentionally or negligently breaches this Agreement, acts unlawfully or infringes rights is responsible, to the extent permitted by law, for reasonable and evidenced loss caused to the platform. Consumers are not required to accept unfair or unlawful liability.
14. Suspension and termination
We may warn, restrict, suspend, remove content or terminate accounts where necessary for breaches, security, rights or legal risk, normally explaining the reason where reasonably practicable. You may stop using the service and request closure. Existing rights, payments and disputes survive termination where appropriate.
15. Changes
We may update this Agreement for legal, service, security or business reasons. Material changes will be notified reasonably before they take effect and may require renewed acceptance. You may stop using the service if you disagree.
16. Law and disputes
English and Welsh law applies without removing mandatory protections in your place of residence. Please contact support first. Consumers in England or Wales may use their competent courts; consumers in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also use the competent courts where they live.
17. General
An unenforceable term does not affect the remainder. Delay in enforcement is not waiver. Users may not transfer accounts or contractual rights without written consent. A lawful business reorganisation must not reduce statutory consumer rights. This Agreement and the Privacy Notice form important rules for use of the service.
